Brilliant Blueridge Saturday

Took a 500 Mi trip from DC to Charlotte along Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway. A few thousand corners and spectacular views. Car was terrific, and performed well in the 40 to 65 mph range. Nothing like a mountain road and a long drive to clear your head. It's days like this I remember why I bought this car.

Cheers

not to doubt that you actualy did this, but those pictures look very odd! almost photoshopped! for example the 3rd picture that you posted has a shadow of the photographer on the side of the car on the bottom of the drivers door, but the ground does not. again i am not saying that you didnt go on this drive just that the angles of the pictures and the burgandy tires just look weird. oh and by the way beautiful color combo!!!

Can't believe I did not get the memo.

Great run from Charlotte to Blue Ridge a few years ago included Hwy 181, my personal favorite...right up to Linville.

Email me next time you plan a run, I'm game.

Will do... I promise! I have a new Mini Cooper S being delivered in a few weeks, and it will need to be broken in. I'll look for 181 on the map.
