I am looking to replace my headers on my 997 s but I have heard that the 996 3.6 headers fit on the 997 3.6 and 3.8.

does anybody know if this is true?

I know that the same set of headers from Evolution motorsports will fit 996 and 997 3.6 and 3.8 cars. I have a set and I am very happy with them. Great quality.

 

why put 996 headers on a 3.8.

 

They are the same thing I heard and it seems to be true. 996 parts are alot cheaper when you go outside the realm of fabspeed and awe

 

Because (aftermarket) they are the same thing.

They have some nice headers to our sponsor Suncoast. They have reduced price of $795 before $1395. Same headers for 997 and 996.

I have heard that these are the same design as a other very well known brand with much higher price. Ask for Ric and he will give you excellent help.

 

I have seen the headers at Suncoast in person and they are super super super nice with excellent quality welds and fit and finish.
