NAV-TV Bluetooth Adapter for 997
I would suggest you contact Nav-TV directly and ask them to recommend an installer in your area. I used Custom Car Stereo in Houston and can highly recommend them in the unlikely event you can't find someone in the Dallas area.
I would also keep in mind that Nav-TV is still tweaking the firmware, so if you do get one before the "official" release, you need to be sure to get the most recent version which allows the firmware of the Tooki to be updated via a Bluetooth-equipped laptop.

thanks for the advice!
I would think Custom Car Stereo could get one for you. (713) 981-8455. Ask for Chris, the General Manager (he's off on Sundays and Mondays).
But again, the ones people have now are "Release Candidates", and the final versions aren't due out until around the end of the month. I got mine directly from Nav-TV with full knowledge it was a prototype that I would provide user experience feedback on. I'm actually on my third unit, and each one has been an improvement. I should be getting my latest unit this coming week, which will be the one you can update its firmware via a Bluetooth-equipped laptop.

like previous stated
You are completely misinformed and actually need to distinguish between fact and fiction. K-40 doesn't have a RADAR jammer, they have a Laser jammer, and they also have a new unit out, so when you go to that site that has the K-40 videos not working, ask them how much they sell the K-40 unit for? They don't sell it you will state... now if they don't sell it, then what are they going to do with it? bash it! Here is a link with video that will completely counter anything you have stated regarding the K-40. The Link
Further the K-40 is awesome when integrated into the vehicle, nothing suction cupped to the window of a $150k 997tt, and it works very well... I haven't seen Valentine company offering to pay anyones tickets... So we can say strike 2 on your comments???!!!???
There was only a handful out there for testing, so basically it didn't exist for the retail market, which is you... and if doesn't exist, then the shops don't know about it. Strike 3 for you???!!!???
You pay for top notch work, I am in Ohio and know those guys, they are 1 of 2 shops in that area that do high end work... you wouldn't take your porsche to a Kia dealer for service would ya?
I doubt it though I would say it is a 50/50 chance

First, it is clear I am referring to a laser jammer and the word radar at the end was an obvious typo -- reread the sentence without your agenda in mind.
Second, Tiger Lily will install a dual V1 hidden remote system with no suction cups so your comments vis-a-vie the K40 just reflect either your bias or lack of information.
Third, at the prices K40 charges $3,000+ vs. $400 for a V1 K40 can afford to pay for tickets even if their product barely works at all -- a real apples to ***** comparison.
Fourth, the video I saw was put together by enthusiasts and cops -- they weren't selling anything (your agenda is really showing now).
I saw this thread the same day I talked to La Jolla Audio. Any installer who is going to sell me something today that is going to be outdated tomorrow without advising me to consider waiting is a failure as an installer as far as I'm concerned. La Jolla Audio sells Nav-TV products and have the same access to the internet as I do. Further, they have my email address and phone number. Nav-TV has called me to discuss their new product which is not yet available for retail sale -- but La Jolla Audio has not. If I know more and have better access to product information than La Jolla Audio then I think I can do better in finding an alternate installer.
Your most foolish comment, however, has to be the one about good work costing $$$. If I am willing to go to Texas from San Diego for the best work it should be clear to anyone over the age of 16 that I'm not looking to go cheap, but if I pay top dollar I want the best. In other words, if you lack information, or have incorrect information (both were the case here) your high prices look like a rip off.
Grow up.

OK, so you are not 16? My agenda? I never thought I had one, but now that you mention it, I think I do. It goes something like this, to remove all the BS, fables, he said, she said, mystery, and voodoo out of a subject and keep to the facts. The internet is filled with misguided Epinions, you stated something, I corrected it. I apologize if it came across harsh, but I call it as i see it and in no way shape or form will fluff it.

because it is the closest thing to a K-40. and it states a price $2809 plus installation? Otherwise you would be at$299.99 for the portable K-40 unit all band/laser detector with the 1 year speeding ticket guarantee, which pays for the tickets up to one year. So basically I just shot huge holes in your THEORY.
Further the K-40 is roughly $2300 for front and rear all-band radar warning and front and rear laser defusers installed on most vehicles, stealth installation, and again the ticket guarantee. the only time i see it being more expensive is when it is integrated into Mercedes-Benz vehicles with distronic plus, due to programming the rear SAM's and interface.

I will make you this bet though, call all the shops in a 50 mile radius of you, 95% will be NavTv dealers, and tell them you want BT in your Porsche integrated on your PCM. Then come back and let us know how many knew about it. Don't mention NavTv also, as to clue them in. you might get 1 or 2 out of 200.

Maybe I should call LaJolla and have them explain their side here?
I don't know everything out there about Porsche and Porsche performance products because new products come out on a daily basis, while I am doing other things. I do want to have the knowledge of everything out there, but then again, I don't.
Grow up.
crazy how threads spiral out of control when 6speed goes down for the night hahaha
anyhow this is a great product and trying to get a installer to be a dealer for north texas, if so I will buy it immediatly

I ended up buying one of the first Tooki units from my local stereo installer for $750 + tax. I was surprised to see that it cost more than the Denison Gateway 500. But if this thing really works then it'll be worth it for me. I plan to get it installed in a couple weeks when my other goodies come in.
I ended up with a box of NEW TOOKI'S today. i think i am going to do a DIY instruction manual for em, or something. the cool thing is that 90% of the instructions are already in your vehicle in the PCM book, the other instructions that go with it, as in operation, will probably start shipping with the units. i have the PDF of them (operating instructions) but can't post a PDF, and i don't have a PDF to JPEG converter, so if anyone wants to see them or post them let me know and in the morning i will send them it, and they can post it here

No disrespect to the Dension unit, but the tooki doesn't care what mode you are in AM/FM/CD/CDC/NAV/IPOD/SAT you want to make a call hit the phone button or if you want to sens a short text message... hit the mail button.... look at the PCM instructions on the phone and mail... you will have that
Oh I'm aware that they operate independently of each other. I confirmed this with Nav-TV.com. I'll be able to have both in my car without issues. I'm looking forward to having it installed. Do you mind posting the instructions online when you have it. I'd like to see if I can do it too.
Text message (SMS) capability is dependent on cellular carrier per the Tooki manual available for download on the Nav-TV website. It doesn't work with my AT&T iPhone. Apparently, it does with some carriers and/or phones.
