Just finished her

I have been working on stripping the paint for the last year and a half. I finally got done spraying it and I figured I'd share.

I built the car with my dad and it took us over 3 years on and off. I Hope you enjoy!

Ill post up some more. This was just from a show a few weeks ago.
Its a 1971 all original (besides the paint) 454 4 speed corvette

Clean & classic, nice. I painted a 73 vette back in college with a roomate. Nice work, did you do the body work/paint yourself?

yea.I bought the car completely disassembled. It came on 3 flat bed trucks. I polished every original bolt on the car so I could keep everything correct. Thats the factory color and I did all the body work and paint myself. I must say, this is my second vette Ive done and I am tired of the fiberglass. Its frustrating, but thank you for the compliments. I enjoy it. I am going to scan some pics I had taken of the car when it was being restored. Ill have those up soon

WOW, great job! Do you or your Dad have any contacts or suggestions for NOS front & rear bumpers for a '75? Thanks.

I am sure I can find you something. I have tons of hook ups with vintage corvette parts. When do you need them? I know there is the NCRS annual car show in orlando in January. They have a huge swap meet and I have seen everything there. I can check it out when I go if you'd like. Also, there are people in our corvette club that have great connections. I'll see what I can get

Awesome! My dad had a 76 with the 454/4speed in it. I like the blue better than the silver he had.

Looks great! I helped my dad do some minor restore work on his 64 vette. It was a great time. We are now working on a 57 belair. It's nice to be able to spend time with my dad doing something we both love...as I'm sure it was the same for you.
