Sorry if that has been posted but what are peoples thoughts on the 2009 Camaro? I liked it a lot in the Transformers movie.

300hp v6 guessing 25k.
425hp v8 guessing 35k w/ no options. closer to 40k nicely equipped.


a year after release gm will produce a 550hp blown v8 camaro. yea you guessed it 45-50k!

 

I like the looks better than the new mustang and challenger actually. Price is reasonable.

 

the prices mentioned are educated guesses. i bet they will be close to those numbers though. very much in line with prices from the srt 8 line

also the srt 8 line will get the option of the 6.4 n/a 500hp v8 in 2009!

There is a 4v 7L aka 426 hemi coming out as well...watch out for that one.

I love the look of the camaro and chally, but doubt they will be overly impressive.


For $50k I would build an LSx 69' camaro and smile everyday.

There is something about it that I like but I can't really put my finger on it just yet. I would enjoy seeing it in person. Keep us informed on its show appearances.

 

I agree, I would love to see it in person. Defintely alot of potential.
