Out with the 09 GT500 in with the 10 C6

Well...after a long hard decision..I parted ways with my 09 GT500 and picked up a '10 C6 Vette. I liked the GT500 alot however I did not love it and therefore never drove it. I also wanted an open air car...so, while I did not get a convertible I do have the targa top. I'll miss the GT500 but, I am really digging the vette.

It is a 2010 Torch Red 1LT Coupe. Yeah..it's the base model but, lots of potential and I am going to do only cosmetic mods for awhile..and enjoy the car!

Pics to come later...given it has not done anything but rain the last few days and getting over a sore throat!

It's not so much that as the issue with the radiator support bracket that apparently is already so close to the ground. I heard to many horror stories of people breaking them. I kind of like how it sits now so, it's something I'll wait on..til I get a little more familiar with the car.

GM will also let you get away with installing SLP parts (exhaust)

exhaust would be the first thing to do as stock C6's sound way to quiet. If you didn't want something to crazy you could install the OEM NPP exhaust which opens the butterflies on the exhaust at a certain RPM. Quiet when you want loud when you get into it. They also make controllers that you can hit a button and open and close the butterflies when you want not based on what RPM you are at.

Enjoy, I purchased my 06 1lt new years ago and it's a lot of car for the money.

LOL! I looked at this weekend on another guys car. Probably the way I will go...and he showed me some clamps you can put on to hold it open a bit instead of fully closed when it is fully closed..then add the M2W.

It is a very nice car..and while the GT500 was nice..it was different. This seems a bit more civilized where as the GT500 was a bit more raw. Both nice...but, I also like the fact I can take the targa top out. I missed my 04 Vert

EDIT: Are you on the corvette forums too?

Thanks!
