Have you looked at M/T's tire offerings? You might have to go to their sport comp tires.

M&H makes a quality DR. I've never seen them used on a vehicle with that much power.

There is no better drag radial, IMO.

I've used M&H, Hoosier, and MT. All good. You will want something with a stiffer sidewall for the weight of the truck.

+1, I tested them back to back at the track against my MT DR's and the M+H's out 60'd them by over .2 multiple times.

My DR opinion solely on grip:

M&H
Hoosier
M/T
the rest suck

Opinion taking grip and somewhat of a tread pattern into consideration:

M&H
M/T
Hoosier

I run 28" M/T's on the Viper, car will have no problem making 1200rwhp and I don't plan on ice skating. The only reason I went M/T, M&H was out of stock when I purchased.
