Just Picked up 2012 Mustang GTCS
I wasn't planning on buying another car until I had a 3 car garage and was planning on getting a GTR as a weekend toy.
Then along came an idiot driver, and totaled my G35.
Didn't want to DD a GTR so I found a black 2012 California Special Mustang GT and called it a day!
It is getting tinted as we speak and I think the next thing is having it lowered 1".
Pretty strong motor

That's what I've seen on a few mustang forums, will definitely look into those 3 mods asap. It has been a few years since owning a ford and having a superchip so going to have to catch up to speed on current ecu tuners.
Its the 6-speed manual.
So far I'm impressed with the gear box. It is better IMO than the 6-speed on my G35. Of course that was one of the few complaints with the G35 was a notchy gear box.

Ok, I ordered a pbox last week, it arrived and I couldn't wait to get out early this morning and get my baseline on my car.
I did some other lower speed pulls first that I'm going to use mostly for determining before and after mod results.
Then I did 3, 60-130 pulls...
First one I missed a shift, fail.
Second one was a 14.62 with some decent uphill in the run so I found a flatter spot and...
Third one much better ran a 13.99 with .5% downhill slope according to my calculations. File is sent to Divexxtreme as the SME for review.
I was hoping for closer to 13 flat, I think my shifts are terrible. I've always thought I was a good shifter, but I'm wondering now. Both my 3-4 and 4-5 shift took around .5 seconds! At least looking at the flat portion of the graph (no acceleration).
Anyway, next week I'll start ordering stuff and see if the 5.0 responds as well as it appears on dynos!
tune, h-pipe, k&n drop in and gt500 axleback are first on the list!

I've considered just going straight to FI.
But I think I'm going to see what I can do NA first and then I really want to wait until turbo kits have matured for this motor and go that route.

Nice car! 3.73 track pack or ?
Just read the 14.05 second 60-130 result. That shift to 5th gear, an OD ratio is probably killing your time. I was hoping to see something closer to the 11.81 of a stock Lexus IS-F.
Looking forward to hearing your bolt-on results. Rangeracceleration.com has some good tips for quicker shifting - he is a consistent C6Z 1/4 mile record holder (stock/DRs).
