Ford GT in the house.
Great numbers Chris. And cool shots too. It's fantastic that you and your local GT gang could all gather together to ensure that you were able to bring in the best in the country to work on your cars.
Thanks. Bought it from Shelby Smith @ Elite.
Factory Five build is inching to the finish line - in between diaper changes

Cut to the chase pics of Eric (AtomicZ), Marty (Woodster) and I go-karting it last summer (before my son arrived). Pics by Alex.

Yes, some discussion, but nobody wanted to part with the coin.. it's a little pricey for the alleged HP gain.
The guy who dyno'd 680whp (Bill) would probably benefit the most - he has headers/TB/Tune/Xpipe.
I like my current exhaust and my understanding was that would have to change if I went with their intake/filter setup.
If I move up the HP ladder, I'll skip some of the incremental steps and put a Whipple on her.

Somewhat off-topic, but after 2 years and 3 months, and with the help of some buddies, including AtomicZ and Woodster, the Factory Five body is on!
Plate should be on this week!
She'll run like this (gelcoat and no carpet) for the summer (shakedown), then will be heading to CA for paint/carpet over the winter.
Anyone with insomnia and/or who wants to see every excruciating detail can read the build thread on FFcars.com
Bye bye go cart

Last pic for awhile with the body off - I hope

Congrats on the great choice of car! Certainly one of the best choices out there!
For anyone that may be interested, we are currently doing an exhaust for a Ford GT. The headers are ceramic chrome powder coated.
We will have a video soon, as well. Sounds absolutely fantastic!

All the way to California for paint and Carpet?

.
Probably.
Not a lot of really good painters familiar with Cobra reps, who are reliable, and who can facilitate the interior wrap up too.
We'll see. Still shopping.

congrats on the GT, it looks amazing. I have a question about the seats, I've never seen them with white piping, is that something you had done or are they different seats than stock? TIA
