2014 Corvette Stingray
The thing that sucks is they'll end up making butt load of those cars... every 70+ year old will have it... it'll just end up being like every other Chevy out there. If they make them in limited production... I'd get one
Well, I do not think that Porsche is ending up as a limited edition car either. Building about 200,000 cars per year ( half of them 911 versions) certainly is more than a few. This is going to be fun, there is not doubt, when there is an option , people will vote with their money (or lease payments) and with the Government squeezing the tax payers -as-in- the people that actually pay taxes... this is going to be an interesting exercise. I bet there are some midnight meetings happening at the VW and Porsche HQ's. Imagine just 5,000 Americans defecting in 2013 and Porsche might be in the RED!
Have you seen pics of the new interior?

Yep, and the red car is 3LT (gm's highest trim package) and has the Z51 package, not to mention the track package seats. That red car is easily going to be $65,000 or more with all the options it has. And then there will be the dealer markup on top of that.
911 Turbos and Ford GTs are the love of my life (as far as cars go), but this vette...I like it a lot. Let's wait for the power-up versions too.
I think that GM nailed it. They will sell sh** loads of them. Good for the good old USA !!
For the price, performace and (now) quality, it will be right there with Vipers and GT-Rs (Z-06 and ZR-1), and having all those derivatives (coupe, vert, 427, Z-06, ZR-1, etc) will have the advantage in keeping the momentum going as the 911 does for Porsche and Mustangs do for Ford.
Congrats to the '14 Vette design team.
