So at $65k we are in a moderately equipped Boxster S range. Hate to say it but I'd lean towards the the new C7.

With 450 Horses and stump pulling torque I think you would make a right move.

Depends if you want to auto cross or drag race. At first I liked it, but now feel there are angles for the sake of angles. The way the front end rakes backis cool, but then there is an outlandish lip on the bottom. What are the rear wheel vents for?

Does anyone else see a Camaro from behind? It reminded me of the new Charger with the Challenger rear end. Maybe they will try that on the Suburban.

Not crazy about the rear lights but otherwise I think it's a hot car. Best looking Corvette by far. Weighs about what my 996TT does. Good job.

sbgt3 is infamous around these parts
I wouldn't sell the GT3, but I would like to add the new Corvette to the garage.

Corvette (I refer to Corvette as a self-contained entity apart from GM in general) did say that every vent and angle is functional for either cooling or down force (moving air for various reasons). This is mentioned in the sales brochure.

I think Chevy did a great job with the C7, will see what the Z06 model has to offer.

I did some really rough photoshop to "FIX" the bits I dislike the most. The car is just too fussy, trying too hard. Thats why the grey car looks better, it clashes less with the black.

Real car on left, Photoshop on the right

On this image I got rid of the front wings on the splitter, the clack plastic hood scoop and the vents in the rear quaters.

I got rid of the Camaro lights and put some round lights on here. Again, very badly photoshopped, but you can see it immediately feels more like a Vette. I also got rid of the shiny exhausts.

In this last one I stripped out that pointless red band on the passenger side. It relates to nothing in the interior. Without it the instrument pod is the focus. It still reminds me of the R8.

I'd love to see someone else's thoughts on what would make it look much better.
