Like I said. Here we go again. Isn't there many other threads on this topic that's still going? Who started this one BTW, why so many non p-car owners lately on this board talking smack? The GTR is great at the suggested $70k. At the $50k premiums over sticker many dealers are asking, I'll pass. I'll buy one as an addition to my 997TT when the prices come back to earth. I don't mind paying over sticker on a p-car, f-car, or a lambo, but for a Nissan? PASS!!!! I don't care how fast it is.

That may be a good sign....with such a result Porsche may soon offer the engine upgrades of the GT2 for the 911 turbo. I would be ready to trade my '07 for such an upgraded 911 turbo. I like the front wheel drive, feel it an absolute requirement for that ever so often fast/furious street driving.

Very Mature Stephen. I won't make any comments on your age. I'll start by saying I'm a fan of Hondas. When they do something they probably do it best. They make a great economy car, excellent fuel efficient SUVs, and a very fun sports car. I've dreamed of owning a Porsche since I was a little kid. I've gone through the muscle car era, and at the same time british cars were the rage, MGs, Triumphs and others. Now the Asian cars are popular, you just have to look at the numbers, it goes way back to Datsuns 240Z, in it's time it was a great car. Mazda had the original RX-7 also a great car. Honda has the S2000, one of the best. But a Porsche and the other exotics just stand out. If you race, you appreciate the quality of components that make up the whole package. I bought my Porsche because it's a great car with a racing history that I connect with. Others may connect with it for its Bling factor. Whatever, mine puts a smile on my face everytime I walk into the garage. When I owned those other cars, I respected Porsche for doing what they were able to with a small budget. In racing they've always been a class act. I'm sure your parents are proud of your disrespectful attitude, show them your post, I'll bet it will make their day.

I don't care if the GTR was as fast and furious as the friggen space shuttle, nothing will stop me from saying that its JUST A NISSAN and the GTR does not and will never have the class, integrity and honor of the Porsche 911. There is nothing wrong with stating this FACT and anyone bothered by the term "its just a Nissan" is clearly missing the point.
