the tiptronic is faster that the manual gearbox. i don't believe the test ! the gallardo in the race with the 997 turbo made 11.853 on the 400m but with the gtr made 12.177 and the gtr made 12.115

mmmhh, i suggest porsche driving school -> brake down -> revs up to ~3000 -> go!!! -> easy 11.xx with the 997TT

With the cheezy on screen graphics and sound effects, I somehow get a mental picture of the entire filming crew masturbating furiously behind the camera as the GTR crosses the finish line. Did anyone not notice that the GTR driver started ahead of the SL on the 0-400m as well?

Another one of these fake jap. car reviews ....
the lap timing was totally fake, IMO this was all to diss porsche as it was the main rival for GTR (all the latest reviews featuring the GTR have to have a 997 turbo on them and they always try to diss it as much as they can) + it clearly shows that the guy is not pushing the TT and not driving it like hes supposed to ... 0-400m shows the bad driving skills involved, he didnt even launch the damn porsche the way hes supposed to, POWER BRAKE DAMMIT!! and then see who wins.
Im not saying that the GTR is not a powerful car n all, however the way in which porsche is depicted in these jap. reviews is very unfair.

The guy was only revving the GT3 to 7400 rpm or less (ahem it revs to 8400 rpm there, pro driver guy), you cant tell me he was trying!
GT-R outbrakes the GT3 by several car lengths.
A tiptronic on shot tires ran a 1:04.1 while drifting a few days ago, and this guy is well over a second slower? Well over 2 seconds slower in qualifying?
The guys in the Porsches were taking leisurely strolls, this may be the worst by Best Motoring ever. The NSX-R? 280 hp and the GT3 can barely beat it?
The best part is that people who dont know any better will actually beleive it. Then they will come to the track (and see reality).

how come whenever you guys get spanked around in these vid's you always have to cry about it? why don't some of you "professionals" take out one of your p cars and find someone with one of these brand X vehicles and make your own comparison video's and then really "drive" the car the way porsche intended?
