In 2009 when the 2010 GT3 w/ 435hp 3.8 motor hits production you will see a slight drop in 997 GT3 prices. Not sure if it will hit the 80's though, still plenty of demand.

Depreciation of the 997 GT3

I would say 3-4 yrs price of 997 GT3 will depreciate. 2000 GT3 cup now a days is around 60K and some of this are supercup.

Is there really another coming out, I would be suprised seems kind of soon.

I think the 997 GT3's will hold much better then the 996 did.

I think if anything prices will stay between 95 to 110 depening on the car.

I think the 997 will hold better too. I just have the feeling (indigestion?) my 996 GT3
lost some of the magic with me as I tried to come to grips with the looks-it never warmed up to me like the 993 did. THIS ONE though OH MY!! I get the same feeling everytime I look at it. Not only a performer like the 996 but drop dead gorgeous. SO for that reason alone I think it holds better.

i agree with ya. the 993 had the nostolgic headlights and teh 997 also has the same look but a bit more oval. the 996,,.. those headlights kinda drew me away from the 911 all together.

in another year, you're gonna see it dropping slightly. The RSs on the other hand would hold up quite well

Agreed!!! I'll have to have one some day, as for now, i'm too caught up in my GT2 lovin! The 997 GT3 is perfect though, in every single way, seems like it will hold some strong value.
