Interesting. I have an M3 now and would be interested to see how long the engine lasts. That particular engine was very "stressed" to begin with and left little if any room for mods.

well that m3 is making close to 700 whp, so its fast. Also the engine is built so it should last. That was also supposed to be on low boost. high boost is 800 plus whp

 

You need to take your car to Protomotive. Take a look at how another supercharged m3 did against a Proto tuned 996TT.

All things considered, the HPF m3 did awesome!

Doesn't look like more than 3-4 lengths from the viewpoint. I would not stress over it. There is always going to be something faster out there

BTW Stg2 is suppose to be an engine rebuild and damn near 1000hp on race gas , when did stg 3 become available, and what's the power output and differences from the stg 2?

No, Stage 2 is not an engine build - Stage 3 is. Stage 1 and 2 use stock internals.

The first few Stage 3's were just completed recently. They are the 1000hp +/- kits.

 

Well when I was looking into getting another M3 and doing this kit, stg 2 at that time was what stg 3 is now, my fault!
