Thanks

09991 - But in addition to this only certain steering wheels are available with deviating stitching. XPA is one and there may be others.

You can get the thicker leather steering wheel in multifunction or without the buttons both in tiptronic and manual cars with deviated stitching, you should also add the full stitching with a certain code that I cannot remember.

Aluminum steering, carbon and wood cannot come with stitching.

Deviated stitching...

I could write a book on this subject - and teach a dealer or two how to do it properly! I just took delivery of my new TT that I expected would have deviated stitching EVERYWHERE, only to find the steering wheel, shift boot, and handbrake without it. There are a total of 7 options that need to be on your order sheet if you want the entire car stitched, and the critical one for the steering wheel, boot and EB handle is the one that says 'all deviated stitching for exclusive options'. While I had that checked (a $290.00 option), none of the aforementioned items will come stitched unless you also pick an 'exclusive' option upgrade to those items. No one mentioned that!! The multi-function wheel option (standard thickness) did not do it. So, I've learned a few things about stitching and 'exclusive' options and hope this helps. It's a shame that the order was not rejected with an explanation/alert saying the customer ordered the deviated stitching for exclusive options when none were ordered. It was not caught until the car arrived at the port and the $290.00 option was removed in the window sticker printing process. Hope this keeps you/your dealer from making the same error.

If only you had done some "6Speed" research on this subject. There have been many threads on this (stitching) subject. It is just amazing how little knowledge most dealers have about this.
