Specing 09 TT Cab - NEED HELP

Dealer called me to spec a sept delivery.

Was waiting for PDK, but am more interested in GT1 engine, than chance of PDK with new engine.

Anybody have any luck with getting dealer to install GT3 RS wheels instead of stock?

Black/ Black Gray Interior/ Black Roof or maybe just Triple Black
Adaptive seats
heated seats
floor mats
PCCB's (Still on fence but leaning strongly)
Sport Chrono
Dif Lock (standard on 09??)
Thicker multifunction wheel
Seat Ventilation (if available)
BT for phone
Universal Audio adapter
dynamic cornering lights (if available)
sport shifter (if available)
heated steering wheel (if available)
Clear Euro side markers
European Del (probable)

Comments?
Suggestions?
I probably need to lock this in by end of business Wed.

Looks great .

There are two posters on the forum who have GT3RS wheels . Jason (Atomic 80) and LPM 505 . I haven't read any posts from them recently.

Jason has contributed so much to the details of the interior that I hope he replies to give you ideas about simple details right down to the stitching on the gearshift leather .

One thing I like is the aluminum shift brake and there also is a really cool looking "Turbo" lid. If you are not opting for carbon fiber or painted console you may opt for a leather console .

I did not spec my car and bought it off the showroom floor but you pretty much got it right in the major areas.

Good luck.

One option I'd get would be the GT1.

Great specs. IMHO, the must-haves are: 640-Sport Chrono, P01-Adaptive Sport Seat, 220-Diff Lock, 450-PCCB.

Seat ventilation is NOT available with adaptive seats, so cross the former off the list.
220-Diff lock is NOT standard on the 2009 so order it.
Dynamic lights are not available.
XCZ-Sport shifter is available.
619-BT phone interface.
870-Universal Audio Interface.
You need CPA (thicker multifunction wheel) + 431 (3-spoke multifunction wheel) - bargain priced at $965+$870 for 2009.
Heated wheel will not be available until the PDK wheel comes out.
Clear side markers will need to be done at delivery. US DOT requires orange.

Lots more great options available but they get pricey fast!

Please ask if your dealer has a f'ing 2009 order guide yet - mine does not.

he says no order guide yet, but in his office is a secure computer that has different access than other computers. He sent me a 08 turbo guide and an 09 cab guide, and said find what I like and then we will go on the computer together and spec the car.

I didn't want carbon, as I have seen some that yellow in the sun.
I don't like aluma-look. Even the real aluminum shifter comes with some aluma-look stuff. Again I want durable and I want things to be what they are. My taste.

Is the center console not leather??

No, the standard center console is plastic and it is not high quality. Same for the lid. To get leather you have to order the option for rear center console plus leather lid with either turbo logo or Porsche crest. I would recommend doing something with it because it makes a huge difference on the look of the interior. I struggled with this and ultimately went with carbon fiber...it really does look awesome, especially when paired with the illuminated carbon door sills and the carbon multi-function steering wheel.

i am picking up a turbo today in manhattan (thursday)-i wasn't able to spec one out-i just jumped on top of a stock one ordered by the dealership that has been sitting at the port with all the rest of them for over a month-i only have the chrono (necessary) heated seats, thicker wheel, xm, universal adapter, blue tooth and a couple small things-msrp about 135k. i have seen cars loaded out like the way you ordered it and they are beautiful. i personally wouldn't get the ceramics, but to each their own, and i can tell you that the maxxed out turbos look beautiful-it is like buying a gold submariner rolex vs a silver/gold mix-you will love your car. when is your's coming in? i have driven 997 turbos before-you will love your car-good luck with it.

I've had the turbo order guide for quite some time, all you had to do was ask.
