Have been getting increasingly interested in picking one of these up, as prices have certainly begun to follow the typical AMG trend. Have seen a number of low mileage (2-3K) cars on ebay in the $106K - $109K range. Have seen cars with delivery miles (<50) around $115K.

I've just been offered through a private sale an '08 with <600 miles on it. Haven't seen an options list (but there weren't many), and the car is lowered. What's the consensus on a good deal? Given that it's a private sale, I'm thinking high $90's - very low $100's. Thoughts?

Just picked one up with 2500 miles for 107,000 from a MB dealer. Options... well I think iPod was the only one. Other than that amazing car for the money! Dont miss my 997tt a bit. I think the color also has a lot to do with the prices. Silvers are dime a dozen as the prices reflect. GL with purchase.

 

Included an extended warranty?

I'm most partial to silver, but I do like the white. This is a black car. Had many black cars. Not so enthusiastic about another one. But, you're right. Color may have a good bit to do with the price. Thanks,

Just the standard warranty. THough come to think of not really sure what that is.

Kind of off topic, but when do you think these bad boys will hit the 70k range. I guess when one comes for sale with 15-20k miles on it.

 

I can't believe it's that far off. AMGs typically have steep depreciation curves, and in this steadily-worsening economic climate...

Yes that was the one I got. 107,000 and some change! Was pretty excited. I think the market and the fact that people are not blowing money on these types of cars the CLK63BS is a real steal.

At $110K (give or take) the car is an absolute bargain. Warranty is 4 years or 50K miles, it will bring a smile to your face, again and again.
