What an F1 race this morning! ! ! !
Today’s Formula One race was one of the most thrilling endings in a long time. Had too much coffee and might have blown out a couple capillaries screaming at the screen. I won’t blow it for those who’ve TIVO’d it, but the all the action is on the last 5 laps! Whoooooh … I’m quite amped up right now! What an ending!

Great race today! Spa is amazing.
Hamilton was robbed.
Terrible decision. They are side by side going into the corner..
Each driver is obliged to give the other space to race.
Raikkonen clearly does not.
Hamilton had only two options - hit the brakes and drop behind, which would be a) an unfair move on Raikkonen's part and b) extremely dicey on a wet track in a tight corner - or run wide, as he did.
This coming from an impartial observer too lol. I see it as a ploy to keep the points race close. Massa wasn't penalized for his pit shenanigans in Spain either...

Excuse me, but that decision is ****ed(pardon me for that). These F1 stewards are *** wipes. (That one too)

The decision was spot on. Hamilton was way too fast in, ran wide, went off track illegally overtook and then took a bloody long time to give place back to Kimi. In such cases it should be done immediately. And when he finally backed off he only gave Kimi 2 yards, slipstreamed him and gunned past him. Well if I would be Kimi I would be really pissed off, I would probably hit him with my helmet! Hamilton is a ******!
PS. I don't support either.

I can't say that I ever love the race being decided after it is over. He gave back the position, and then again passed him. And for F**KS SAKE, the car involved in the incident didn't even finish the race!
I am a Ferrari fan, and even I think that the penalty was excessive. He definitely should have received a penalty, but not to that extent.
Kimi is annoying me. The Iceman has lost his cool. He simply doesn't have the passion for F1 anymore. I never thought he was a good fit for Ferrari. They need a new driver. Kubica (whom I do like) or maybe Alonso (who I think is a whiny ****). Dunno.
Regardless, it was a very exciting race. Can't wait for Monza next weekend! Forza Ferrari!

I prefer to see someone other than Hamilton win, but the former rally driver in me recognizes Hamilton did make an attempt to rectify a poor choice of corner line options and did fall behind through the next corner. Of course there’s a conflict of interest when the interruption of path can be considered corrupted through more than one corner … but I’d have to give it to Hamilton. As far as I’m concerned, his pass was legit. Barely legit and as close to the limit as could be … but legit. The only thing I’m not sure of is whether the track conditions and the ‘complete return of control’ (regardless of corners or distance) plays a part in the decision. I look forward to the stewards public report. Still, a sensational ending!

Kimi passed him a good ways before start finish which is less than halfway down that straight, lewis gave up the position immediately, there is nothing in the rules that says you have to give up several carlengths, only position.
Kimi then got owned, which was coming anyways and everyone who was watching knew it.
