C63 sales?
C63 sales?
How easily have dealers been moving the C63's? Have they been hit as hard as everyone else? I'm trying to decide on a new RS4 with the exact specs that I want or a 09 C63 also with the exact specs I'm interested in, and want to get a feel for how much I should offer on the C63. I know that the Audi dealership that has this RS4 hasn't been able to move a single one of its 9 new RS4's in the last 6-7months but have no idea how quickly the benz dealerships are getting rid of their C's.
Yea, yet they turned down my offer of 70k OTD (granted part of the deal was them paying for winter tires + installation and swapping the 6disc for Ipod integration) for the one I was interested in with a sticker of about 78 no more than a month and a half ago. I'm thinking of going back in a couple of weeks with a lower offer, but if I can get into a silver 09 c63 with a limited slip diff for around the same amount I think I'll have no choice but to go for that.
Hmm, I would just ask him if it has the 030 Performance Package, he should be able to figure that out. But I don't think you'll have any trouble getting a C63 for 70k OTD with all the options you want.
+1 C63.....I would have purchased one myself instead of my IS-F if it wasn't for the horrible gas mileage/gas guzzler tax and Benz of North America not budging at all on the sticker! RS4 is already dated compared to the rest of the competition i.e. M3, IS-F etc. and can't hold a candle performance wise across the board to its peers.
i thought the c63 was going for less than $60k MSRP which seems like a great deal on a great ride. am i wrong?
down here in miami, i just don't see any of them on the road. which is unusual. premium benzes always do well down here.
i think the new m3 just stole the c63 thunder.
EDIT: much less than $60k as it turns out. best seats in the world too!

unless you absolutely must have the latest/greatest, i would recommend to anyone that they shop around for a lightly used e55 instead. better car, better quality, as fast-if not faster, and they're giving them away out there.
+1.......E55 stock are running 11.7's, but MHP tune on the new C63 ran an 11.5 so it just depends what you want. Used E55's are soooo affordable and have a nice aftermarket to support some sweet performance!
11.7 stock? define "stock". thats at least a half second faster than any magazine test. there is no way in hell these cars dip into the 11's without more than just a tune either. i'm sure tune/filter/pulley probably gets you into the 11's, but that's not stock.

Don't hate the player!

stock is never stock.

however, that benz sure hauled ***. damn!
Maybe that dudes AMG was a freak, maybe he's a sandbagger and is actually running a stage 2 E55.......who knows, who cares. AMG cars are soooo tuner friendly is ridiculous, too bad they rank so low in reliability I would actually add one to the stable.
True, but why lie? To impress his internet buddies? What does he stand to gain from fibbing on his slips?

i know the power is there, and putting it down is hard to do...
