You are correct, I cannot believe they still have it. I traded it on a SL55 in August! I hate to think of it sitting outside all this time.

I am enjoying it--especially the power and "American-sounding" V8 rumble. I haven't finished my break-in period of 1,000 miles yet. Hopefully, I will this weekend.

I think he has both, and his "daily driver" is the E55. Nice cars though man!! We just sold our SL55 two weeks ago, its boring without it

It's an E500. So far, I am quite pleased with it--although I did visit 4 car dealerships this weekend.

I looked at an A6 (just Ok), A8 (beautiful), Acura RL (techno wonderland), and assorted Porsches. My former turbo is still for sale at Porsche of Orlando. I think they dropped the price to $105,000.

Tomorrow, I take the SL in for its first service. Hopefully, nothing is screwed up.

 

Love the SL55!! The E500 must feel pretty anemic after driving the SL LOL

I agree with you about the A8 - gorgeous car, but very very big. If I can sit in the back seat and say wow leg room (I'm 6'5") you know thats a big car! lol

Just did the similar deed my 996 departed and I have a C55 different car but I love it. I agree the A8 is a really nice car alum body nice engine , great interior, Audi for some reason doesn't belong in this market, the A6 is there market, I had a 2.7TT and really enjoyed it.
