reasonable time for tuner to get to u?
okay, i have mod madness.. i want to upgrade turbos, IC's, tune, plugs. i've been waiting around for a week for my tuner to tell me he's ready for my car and i called day before yesterday to check status and still no return call. Is this normal? im thinking about going somewhere else but i dont want to if this is par for the course. how long should it take for a tuner to get to you given these mods?

If they want your business they should be returning your call. It shouldn't take that long. I agree it's time to talk with someone else. Good luck.
If i was in southern cali, i would definantly be interested.
I'm waiting for him to tell me when parts will be here and also tune. i dont think he's even ordered the parts based upon a conversation that i had with someone up there a few days ago. i was telling them that i wanted to do a more powerful turbo than what we discussed before and that i was worried that he already made the order for the less powerful one. They replied, no he hasnt.

I might go somewhere else as well...If a shop wants your business, they should respond in a timely manner! You are their customer after all!Thats what customer service is all about....
Absolutely no excuse to not return your calls.
RUN and take your business elsewhere.
If they don't return calls now can you imagine the response you'll get when they have your money !!!

I deal with Protomotive (based in Arkansas) and I live in CA. There are many others who use Proto remotely too. I have not heard a single complaint from anyone about Proto. That should tell you something. If your tuner is local and you are having troubles communicating basic information, I would not give them my coin, no matter who it was. There are many other high quality options.
okay, im starting to not feel like as much of a jerk about this. I mean, im willing to spend thousands of dollars and i think im entitled to Porsche serve here. im giving them until 10 am tomorrow morning. if no call, then i will call them and tell them to refund the "deposit" that they charged on my credit card.
I sense your frustration. Depending on your deposit terms, you might just want to request a refund of your deposit immediately if possible. Start fresh. You'll feel better. I've had to do this on a couple of occassions and am convinced I made the right choice each time.
Get a refund immediately. For the car you have and the price you are willing to pay for mods, you should demand and expect top notch service. That means phone calls or emails responded to within 24 hours.
