Optimum Clutch for ~600hp 997 turbo

Doing some research for the optimum clutch for a 2007 turbo running approx 600hp... my one is starting to slip (it's still OEM so that's no surprise really)

From what I can tell the best fit for price would be the Sachs Stage II.
Thought I might throw it out there if there are any other recommendations?
I should mention that I'm keeping the OEM flywheel.
Thanks guys!

...not looking to break the bank, but wondering if there's any thing else I should be looking at replacing/updating while I'm swapping the clutch out?

Don't have an answer for you, but do you know how much power are you making right now at the crank? Your mods are intake, exhaust and a tune?

Based on his mods, OP must mean 600 crank, not wheel. Even so, think that number is optimistic.

To the OP, your clutch should be fine for that power level. You may want to upgrade the pressure plate though.

With an eye to possible future upgrades, I would recommend the Sachs stage 2.5 not stage 2. That way if you decide to go a but higher in power, your clutch will hold.

my stock clutch started slipping with the v580 EVOMSit installed after about 5,000m. I dont think the clutch per se is the weakness, rather not enough clamping force / pressure plate.

Yeah, the ~600 is an estimation at the crank, hence the "~"
Simply using dyno output figures at the wheels and applying average losses through the drive-train.

Back onto the question of the clutch kit, which as far as I know contains the pressure plate, clutch disk, and a throw out bearing. Is this the 764 plate bbywu's talking about? Or are you referring to a different part?

A "Sachs 2.5" was dubbed by AWE as a Sach's 2 clutch kit with an upgraded 764 pressure plate. Give them a jingle, I'm sure they will be able to help you.

Go straight to the stage 2.5 Sach's kit. The pedal effort is almost indistinguishable from stock.

Awesome, thanks Bob! Yeah, got a little confused as to the difference between the 2 and 2.5.

I am in the market for a new clutch as well. I know I will eventually get modded vtgs and intercoolers.
What do you guys think about EVOMS stage 2 clutch (rated up to 750hp) ? Compare to AWE Stage 2.5, the kit contains Sachs 999 pressure plate(not sure which one), Sachs euro rs clutch disc and rs LWFW. (This kit is a lot like venkatreddytx's kit from protomotive)
Which one do you guys think it's better? Can both hold the power of modded vtgs on race gas?
