Very nice! The only color combo I really liked in the GT500...even though I had a Vapor one..as I could not get to a 2010. They held the sticker on those things! Anyway..beautiful car...and congrats!
I'd like to hear a comparo too...especially since you had Z06..which I now want!

Thanks for the comments all! Appreciate them!
This car is a totally different animal. More of a grand touring car. Z was a pure sports car and the way I modded it...incredibly fast as well.
GT500 handles/stops/rides well. ZO6 handles/stops excellent. Ride was about the same as GT500, maybe a bit harsher.
Now for the part that everyone wants to hear about: power. ZO6 was ridiculous. Power came on around 3700 or so and just..........kept..........going. All the way to 7200-7400. Pulled violently all the way. Sounded bad *** with the huge cam. Shake, rattle and roll it did. Very 'connected' feel to the ZO6--solid motor mounts, all the wonderful sounds it made, etc.
GT500: power is there, just in a different way. It has more power than the Z does and feels (from my limited seat time) as fast as the ZO6. Power kicks in @ 3k rpm and then just pulls and pulls.
Smaller engine with boost vs. larger engine n/a : tough call to make. The GT500 is easier to drive, I will say that. It is like driving a stock Mustang until the boost builds/hits and then away you go! ZO6, not much down low, but damn, when she hit 3500rpm hold on!!!
Anyway, that is my initial assesment between the two. I will add more later as I get more and more seat time and learn more about the ins/outs of the GT500.
Overall, I am very happy with this change and would do it again if I had to.
See ya!
