Would you buy a 997tt withouth Sport Chrono
From my understanding, if you get it tuned you achieve the same amount of power as one with the sport chrono. Not sure about the other 'parameters' that are changed with the chrono feature.
But, to answer your question, no. I wouldn't get one b/c it'll be harder to resell later.

I've had 3 P-Cars (2 PDK)in last couple of years: all with SC. I could care less about the clock (as I never used it), but I ABSOLUTELY took advantage of the Sport/SportPlus settings. The increased throttle response and sharper shifting models made all the difference. If you want a PDK car, don't think about it unless SC is part of the plan.
In your case, if the car has everything else you want but no SC, buy it the have SC added via dealer and/or thru Suncoast. One way or another, get it on your car. Not for resell, not for looks, but for how it makes the car drive.

A nice 997tt with low miles? Absolutely would consider it. Spend your money on a flash, it pretty much makes the SC obsolete in terms of power enhancement unless of course you want to toggle back and forth for some reason.
Thanks for all the feedback. This reminds me of my M5 purchase... Heads Up Display, Full leather, Comfort access and Multi Contour seats... All must haves! Sports Chrono appears to be no different. I guess the search continues.
Why do you think you are burning extra gas on the freeway when SC is on?
