Finally found a nice 997tt with low miles... It does not have Sports Chrono?

Would you consider it?

Thanks in advance!

From my understanding, if you get it tuned you achieve the same amount of power as one with the sport chrono. Not sure about the other 'parameters' that are changed with the chrono feature.

But, to answer your question, no. I wouldn't get one b/c it'll be harder to resell later.

check out suncoast. They have sport chrono available as an add on but you don't get the stop watch. Most dealers don't even know you can add it

(I guess "No!" by itself was too short for the robo-moderator, so I'm afraid you'll just have to read this gibberish too)

I've had 3 P-Cars (2 PDK)in last couple of years: all with SC. I could care less about the clock (as I never used it), but I ABSOLUTELY took advantage of the Sport/SportPlus settings. The increased throttle response and sharper shifting models made all the difference. If you want a PDK car, don't think about it unless SC is part of the plan.

In your case, if the car has everything else you want but no SC, buy it the have SC added via dealer and/or thru Suncoast. One way or another, get it on your car. Not for resell, not for looks, but for how it makes the car drive.

I wouldn't purchase one without SC. IMO...it's one of the options that is a must have.

Its irrelevant. I use my chono-gauge as a boost clock.I bought my car CPO from the dealer, and did not even care to check if it had the chrono package on it .

A nice 997tt with low miles? Absolutely would consider it. Spend your money on a flash, it pretty much makes the SC obsolete in terms of power enhancement unless of course you want to toggle back and forth for some reason.

Thanks for all the feedback. This reminds me of my M5 purchase... Heads Up Display, Full leather, Comfort access and Multi Contour seats... All must haves! Sports Chrono appears to be no different. I guess the search continues.

Why do you think you are burning extra gas on the freeway when SC is on?
