997 Turbo Manual.. Which exhaust to go for?

Ive just picked up my first 997 TT Manual. Its a totally spotless example and I cant wait to take delivery.

I am very interested in making it 600+ BHP and wanted to know what everyones thoughts were on which exhaust system to go for?

I'm expecting to put the exhaust system on and tune the car with a softronic ECU flash as the first stsge and then I might be brave and get some upgraded VGT's in there as the next step.

I'm not adverse to an agressive sounding exhaust at all I just wanted to know what all of you would choose as the right system to install on the car for tuning and sound.

I have run the GMG racing which makes awesome power, but is very loud. I now run the Cargraphic loud which has an awesome sound.

Any thoughts on a straight pipe setup with 100/200 cel cats?

Something like this but incorporating the cats for road use? http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/i...-p-104419.html

I can always drop the cats when I want to race?

Have you ever heard one with the bypass pipes? They're extremely loud! Are you going to be driving this a lot on the street, or is it more for track use?

Opinions on exhausts are like you know whats, everybody has one.

EP = Europipe

Lots of 996TT and 997TT owners swear by 'em. Many of whom have used countless other systems, only to become unhappy for one reason or another.

Europipe is the way to go. That is the only exhaust we use with our Blitzkrieg package at TPC Racing.

GT2 original titanium exhaust with some 100 sport cell cats. Have tried 4 exhaust systems including cargraphic and the original akrapovic had best sound/ power/ weight/ heat dissipation and lowest drone by far.
EP is also good I hear but i personally think that if you can find a titanium GT2 exhaust at a good price, dont even think about it. I run 700hp with it.

and no cel warning in 3 years.. Just passed MOT in the uk with no issues
