Winter tyres

What tyre sizes are you guys using on your turbo?

I can only find 235/35/19 for fronts and 295/30/19 for rears in a Pirelli.

The fronts are fine but I run a 305 on the rear usually!

Do you get snow in the winter? Then you rather have smaller sizes than those anyways.

I think 295 is the smallest tyre that fits the stock wheels. Nokian aka Suomi tyres makes a set of studded tires in the dimensions you mentioned (Hakkapelitta 7) which usually winns all tests done here up here every year.

Thanks dude been a great help.

I ordered the pirellis as the price was too good to be true.

pretzel is infamous around these parts
Pirellis working great for me, bigger issue is the snow plow on the front! Have not had enough snow yet this year to be high centered.

I picked up the Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II couple of weeks ago and slapped 'em on some secondary 997tt rims. Been running them a week now - been chilly in NY and looks like we are getting snow tomorrow. Running fantastic. Bit noisier and rougher than the summer tires, but expected for winter tires. Good grip although I'm not driving her much less agressively.

Enjoy.

Got the recommended sizes:

235/35R19 Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II 240, N1(Porsche)
295/30R19 Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II 240, N1(Porsche)

Not as nimble but looking forward to the snow run tomorrow!

I run Michelin Pilot Alpins in F:235/40R18 & R:265/40R18. 3 winters already and couldn't recommend them higher. The car is very good in the snow. Cheers!
