Could be a vacuum leak or cracked header! Is your car stock?
Car has carbon fiber airbox and updated programming. Other than that stock. Some days the turbo's boost to 18psi, some days very little boost. Very inconsistent. The actuator rods were regreased recently.

If they were regreased...may want to check and see that one or both were put on correctly and did not pop off? Just a thought. I am thinking a leak would cause boost issues all the time?? Easy to look under the car and inspect the rods to rule that out.... Good luck.

Also check the little o-rings on the oxygen sensors as they can corrode as this happend to me too!

Thanks for the feedback. Just picked up car from the shop. Problem is actuator rods sticking. Had them regreased with hopes the problem would be fixed. Nope, worked at first but half way home started sticking again. So this was a problem with these turbos from the factory and now car is or of warranty what are my options? Can I get coverage somehow from Porsche or can the rods be replaced or need new turbos? Help
You can get them reconditioned or if you go down that route you might aswell make them hybrids! Speak to Rhonda at FVD and she will help you out. Just exchange them for hybrids would be your best bet! I run the FVD hybrids and they are nice!
Or another option is to speak to Emre at ES Motors as he is one of the best tuners out there aswell but you might end up going for an 850 kit
One thing I will say is that you might want to get another opinion on the actuators before you do this as they could be trying to con you!
You can put pressure on them for good will but good luck in that happening.

What is "updated programming"?
That is what I was thinking. And agree....Should probably go to another shop or even good Indy shop and see if they can't get them lubed up to work properly...Other options cost slightly more than $10
Sorry to hear the problems and best of luck getting it fixed.
