Help needed with 2007 turbo radio

My first post here, hello everyone.
Does anyone know of an easy and inexpensive way to somehow link up a USB to my factory sound/nav system, or direct aux jack, so that I may play music through the factory stereo system.
I have tried one of the adapters that runs through the cigarette lighter, and tunes into an FM station, but sounds like **** with static.
Below is a pic of the radio nav that is in it (bone stock). It appears that there are no aux jacks or settings on the system to do this

Unfortunately you have to purchase an addon that costs $500+ to do this. The most commonly used is the dension 500sbt, but it is known to be problematic.

You might be able to find a used tooki ipod adapter and then use a 3.5mm to ipod connector (this is what I'm doing until I replace the PCM). Or the newer version with aux in

Edit: Here's one on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NAV-TV-OPI-P...item3a8d97a21c

But no, there is nothing straightforward that I know of.

I had a navtv, still have it in a box somewhere. Allowed somewhat control of iPod through PCM.

But they are not that great in quality. I ended up replacing head unit AND wish I did that in the beginning, so much happier.

Winnilaker: is it possible to get a good pic of your system instal, the video is very dark; do you use stock Porsche parts for the "framing" and stuff, or is it an aftermarket plastic frame?

It's aftermarket, you can buy an install kit here:

Al and Ed's (a sponsor on here) will also put together a package w/ pre-wired harness and stuff.

Happy to answer q's on Dension's top shelf 500SBT for you anytime. 'Problematic' is not an across-the-board descriptor that applies. If installed and setup correctly, it brings ipod, bluetooth (streaming and calls), aux and usb to the fiber optic loop and does it quite well.

Reach out with any questions anytime.

My car is up on my lift, will have to get picture later, but it's the aftermarket kit described above. I bought a full package from delray, see my thread link, included every I needed to install.
