Well, a little bit of misfortune is upon me. First, ant infested a part of my house and created $3k of damage. Son and I worked hard to paint the house and took a ride to enjoy the summer evening part way through the cruise we heard a loud pop followed by a hiss. Shortly after a squealing sound was coming from the left front wheel. We pulled over and waited for AAA for a tow home
Any idea what it is? I thought it was a blown wheel bearing? Brakeline? The steering seems fine and there wasn't an apparent loss of brake pressure.

Just looked and the ride hight appears to be the same on all four corners. No leak of fluid anywhere. Is a blown shock expensive to repair? I hope my aftermarket warranty covers such items.
THe shocks are electrically connected and are notorious for developing shorts in the wiring. If a wire shorted, that shock could be blown. If you have Bilstein PSS10s then they are covered under a lifetime warranty but you need your original receipt of a shop that deals with them often enough that they can have it covered.
Thanks for the diagnosis. I have tried to think of all the possibilities., what you are saying makes sense to me. I have stock stocks, are they the PSS10? Btw, when you say they develop shorts in the wiring, what part? The wiring of the car harness leading to the shocks or the shock itself?
Went to the Indy that I plan to bring my car in on Monday. Saw Porsche's of all models outside. I guess I can't go wrong with these guys.

Well... Car is back and nothing could be found. They figure it was a pebble which got caught in the rotor and dislodged itself cause it's all fine now. While it was up they changed the oil and filter, put on my new super sports, TPMS and did and minor alignment. Also had issues with a notchy shift, they took apart the console and said the cable clip broke so the cable had slack. They said a new shift cable was $1,200. But for a couple hours work, they pulled off the console and zap strapped the cable housing down.
She drive great now.
