I'm looking at getting swaybars and a strut brace sort of completes things and ties the front together.

I feel this is more for the Civic crowd to stop flex. I'd hope a Turbo wouldn't need such a device.

There are already OEM strut braces installed, so why adding a strut brace over strut braces?

Ah. Then that answers my question as to why it's never discussed.

Very simple. Even though you do have OEM braces in the car, they do not tie the strut towers together and in essence are not true strut tower braces per se. I have a RUF strut brace in my car. I forgot to fully tighten it one time after an alignment and was getting all kinds of creaking and squeaking from the from of the car. Once I tightened the brace, all was quiet. This tells me that there is quite a bit of flex present in the tub without the brace. The stiffer your suspension is, the more benefit a strut brace will be. If you track your car you will see a greater benefit to the strut brace as the loads on the suspension will be much greater than street driving. The trick to the strut brace is to install it and ad a bit of preload on the strut towers before final tightening.
