Beru coils ?

Quick question replacing coils on 997.2tts is there a difference between OEM and the beru non Porsche labeled coil ?

Hey D. Same part. However you have to make sure it's the thicker updated version.

My experience is the aftermarket plugs suck big time ! Forget the nonse publicity ,they dont add hp . Keep your bosch oem plugs becauase any other plug will knock and triger cel and pasm failure .

He is talking about OEM coils made by same manufacturer without porsche part number.

Well I used two brands of plugs after reading numerous positive reviews (well 80%) and after I installes them the engine knocked a lot . After pulling past 4000rpm they trigered cel & pasm failure. We check with durametric and it was written misfire in some pistons. Installed oem plugs and everything is fine .

I've been running then on my tuned 997.2 no problems for about 3k miles

Perfect that was what I looking for , I'm just doing kline inconel exhaust and Cobb tune. Figured exhaust is out good time to do plugs n coils only 12 k in miles but do it now rather than later
