Why I hate Fedex

Brand new BBI Barcode Exhaust, ceramic coated muffled tips. Betim ships it 2 day air because you have a race this weekend and he's just a cool guy.

I hate you Fedex.

This is why you buy from a guy like Betim @ BBI... I email him and within 5 minutes have a response - Go ahead and do what you need to do with the exhaust to make it work for Texas Invitational tomorrow. We will replace/fix or do whatever we need to do to make it right after the race.

So, it was MC Hammer time!

Nothing like taking a hammer, crescent wrench, and bench grinder to your new exhaust without fear because BBI has your back.

I feel you! I foam packed, bubble wrapped, and added sheets of cardboard to a set of solid aluminum aftermarket intercoolers that I sold on eBay. Shipped to Texas, and somehow they managed to crush one of the openings similar to your damage...

I mean you have to run over it with a truck to do that....WTH???

Good luck with yours!

Sorry to see that - kind of takes the bloom off the great customer service you got. For that kind of damage something had to intrude into the packaging. Did the box show signs of damage? I've shipped a lot of stuff with Fedex (both Ground and Express) and with UPS including fragile parts like plastic taillights and I guess I've been luck - never any damage...but then I tend to over-protect in my packaging.

Had a same issue with the ceramic coating on the tips from Billy Boat for my SRT 8 rig, but mine went across the ocean to Puerto Rico and UPS were the ones to blame.

Probably got promoted to district manager.
At least, if he worked for the hospital chain I'm stuck with, he would be...

Racing over for the weekend... Impressions from the BBI exhaust are great. You can cruise around in 6th gear and barely hear it. Or you can open it up and it sounds sort of like the Speedtech xpipe but without the cabin resonance/drone.

I don't know what magic Betim sprinkles on these things but it is damn impressive. If you want a catless exhaust I don't think there's a better option out there.

Glad you are satisfied and enjoying it!

I may need to figure out a way to get up to Dallas to hear this first hand as it is my #1 preferred system, but am hesitant to pull the trigger without hearing it in person first. Please let me know if you ever find yourself in Houston - I'll trade you a dinner or a few beers for a short test ride!

Sure - if you can get up here I don't mind bringing the car out. I probably won't have it in Houston any time soon.

For what it's worth the only two exhausts that I've heard/driven/ridden in that I would recommend are Europipe, and the BBI.

I couldn't agree more, I drive my car around with the windows down so I can hear it. I have the full 3" catless, it is loud on start-up and full throttle, but cruising it doesn't drone at all and sounds amazing.

It is not a cheap exhaust to say the least, and I was trying to take a step back from a loud exhaust as I wanted something that I could drive and not get a headache. With that said, the BBi exhaust checks all of the boxes for me.

Haha! I had cranked up my car around a non-car buddy of mine, and he gave me this weird look and said "have you been heavily drinking?!?"

Not me, just the car
