Trunk Light on when not Latched?
In the 997.1TT, does the front trunk light stay on when closed but not latched?
The rubber seals keep any light from escaping so I can't tell. I have a battery tender attached for winter storage and don't want to latch the hood in case something fails with the tender and access to the battery is then locked.

Light turns off because of the "Load Switch-off" feature (see the index in your owner's manual) - after about 2 hours...not sure why a dealer wouldn't know about this. You can also arm the car with the hood open and the light will go out in about 20 minutes.

I had simply poped out my light and unplugged it.
The plan was to install a little rocker switch next to the light, so that when on, the light turned on and off with the hood,....... and when off, the light stayed off (like when using a charger)
Never knew it went off after 2 hours. That seems like an AWFULLY long time though. Why not 3 minutes?
I'm not a fan of LED's,.. but that seems like the ideal place to put one. The stock light gets really hot after a bit.
