New version of ERP clutch & GT2 gears installed
So i know there's a lot of smack talk about the Erp clutches ,heck i think i've had 3 now,but this is the latest ERP RPS with the hydraulic adjuster kit 8" version ,& so far so good i love it .Very smooth & engagement is easy i barely have to push the clutch in to shift gears ,not stiff at all, but keep in mind i also have the Bbi slave thingy in there .
My tranny also had to be rebuilt & had Bill Radar beef it up & put GT2 gears in it while he was in there ,so i should be bullet proof for a while ,as i managed to break 2nd gear twice now.I haven't had a chance to open her up in the upper gears yet, but i remember before tapping out in 3rd gear at 100 to 102 mph hitting the rev limiter & now it goes to 110 to 112 mph in 3rd .So hoping this will help me in the 1/2 mph races ,as it seems i'm always at the top of 5th gear going across the finish line around 165 to 170 mph ,not wanting to shift right at the line.Looking forward to the next 1/2 mile events to see what happens.

Glad to hear about the clutch and better gearing for you.
The stock gearing is perfect stockish power, but once these cars start making some power you start realizing the gearing issues!

So stronger Tranny and longer ratio?
Good to hear. How is the engagement point? Is it in the middle of pedal travel, bottom, top, is it adjustable? Is the engagement point on/off?
Yes Gt2 gears are taller /longer
Engagement is at the top of the pedal ,not sure if it's adjustable
Engagement is at the top of the pedal ,not sure if it's adjustable
Same 997 tt tranny I'm in the 650 to 700 hp range
