Opinions- 997TT or 360 and 996TT

What would you do- my 996TT is for sale, but it's a great car in perfect shape with only 10k miles. My options are sell and upgrade to the 997TT, or keep it, and buy a 360. I'm still on the fence, but need to decide very soon.

360's are way underpowered, I wouldnt even think about getting one. If you are wanting an exotic look go Gallardo all the way! If you want speed with a more subdude look its a 997TT!!

Yeah the Gallardo is better than a F360 but the 997tt is the fastest car.

If you only got 10k on the TT, just keep it and start driving it!
A 997TT will only be slightly better than your 996TT imo
The 360 will be a letdown.

Other than more hp what is the difference between the 996 and 997TT? They both will drive about the same. Owning and driving a Ferrari is a totally different experience. I suggest you drive the 360 and then decide. Also, much will depend on the year and condition of the 360.

If it helps, my TT is stage I. I would make it stage II. And none of these would be my daily driver.

I didn't like driving the 996TT & LOVE the 997TT,

To tell you the truth, IMHO I'll keep the 996 turbo and get a 360 Modena if you find a good one.

You did not like the 996TT but bought a 997TT? Very strange.

Love the 360. Totally different driving experience from the Porsches. 997tt is great, but I'd much rather be faced with the tough decision of choosing between my 996tt and my 360 for what to drive that day.

If you have the option to daily drive and keep the TT and buy a 360, its a no brainer!

Although all of the people saying 996TT is similar or not that diff than 997TT, i find it hard to believe you drove both. The 997TT felt way more precise and nimble like than the 996TT, just overall more crisp with thrittle, handling, feel and so on!

IMHO...definitely keep the 996tt and get the 360. I LOVE Porsches, but driving a Ferrari is a singular experience...

Well that's what I'm thinking. How much faster would the 997TT be vs stage II 996TT? I've driven the 360- agree with all the comments about power. For me it would be more about the sound than the power in the 360- and the lines

I think you'd regret getting a 997tt instead of adding and italian.

However, here's my take. The Turbo is a small displacement, TT, rear-engined, AWD, car. It is 100% Porsche (even the interior ). As far as Ferraris go, a nice compliment to your Turbo would be a 550 Maranello. It is a Front engined (huge) V12, RWD, Classic, Gorgeous, amazing Ferrari. They are wildly different cars and would go well together. However, the 360 has a VERY passionate, flowing, exciting design (as most 8 cylinder Ferrari's are) and is a high revving fun car (don't forget the 550 redlines at 7600). Monetarily speaking, adding a Ferrari would be better as well. 360's look to be slowing down in depreciation and 550's are essentially done.

(I'm a bit biased though )
