Advice on a daily to compliment TT...
Finally, I have time to do some shopping - I've been getting really bored with the IS350 (obviously, not thinking at purchase time
) - now, I want to get something exciting - looking at spending between $50k and $70k - been looking at option 1 ) used M5 - dropping like hell in value - can get some good deals, but endless problems with SMG...
2) New RS4 - hard to find locally - can source from out-of-state dealers...and I'm not impressed with the interior - seems dated...
3) 335i 6-speed sedan - good value and mod it (Xede?)
4) '07 X5 4.8 - not really an SUV guy, but this one looks tempting...
Main criteria - 4 doors; executive looks for business and something a bit more exciting than a Lexus...
I'm leaning to the 335 - what would you do?

I drove a late model 330xi 6 speed at Skip Barber. I enjojyed it much more than the M3 I drove right before it. I would say I loved it. The only down side is the prestige factor...it doens't come close to the M5.
I just got back from Seattle this weekend. Your roads suck, and the conditions are poor. I would recommend some kind of 4wd utility vehicle depending on your needs - pets, kids, hobbies. Toyota FJ, Q7, MDX, ML63?

I personally would go for the m5 over an RS4, drove my friends RS4 around some twisties and its nice as hell ,handles great and is deceivingly quick, but i couldnt justify buying one at that price!
In a mid range, new G35, ive had mine for years modded and beat the living hell out of it, its bulletproof, or the 335

tremendously difficult decision... 4 door is a must?
1.- CLS63
2.- S8
probably jump over budget...
1.- CLS550
2.- A8
those two fir the budget line... the CLS has a tremendous line the A8 looks classy...
The RS4 is tempting but is going to look old pretty soon, depreciation is a factor too and also US version didn't come with full blown Recaros...
X5 sounds great too... get towing pacakge and get everything in one vehicle...
new 3er fall at the bottom of your budgeted amount... fun but if I have $70k to use I would go for all the marbles...
now whats wrong with the 997TT as daily? Sincerely I think Porsche has bridged the gap from the time you needed a bimmer and a porsch... the 997TT is soft enough for daily yet fast and envolving for much fun... just my 2 cents...

I drive it into work as much as possible, but I need a sedan for business - entertaining clients etc.
And I've had an E55 - hated the handling on the AMG sedans...
