Need some help with relocation
So I have been looking at houses in arizona since we moved back to michigan from there. I gotta say queen creek is looking very inexspensive. I find a house that is 3240 sqft for 130k. hmm but I know when we left there they were jsut developing that area. soo... how is it now? I know in chandler i lived at country club and ray area and had no problems with scorpions or insects.. how is that area for those?
Im looking to spend less then 130k for house....
Any ideas comments and concerns are welcomed!

Its pretty night and day over say 5-6 years ago. I just bought a car from a guy in Johnson Ranch and its a very nice area. Small houses and packed together as you would expect but nice.
There is lot of new commercial development right in Queen Creek at Ellsworth and QC, they have improved the streets as well. If you don't mind being out there I wouldn't think twice. You are still limited to surface streets and Hunt highway and other streets get loaded up in the morning and evening rush hours.
Can't help you with the Scorpions. No idea if they have them or not. I am in Ocotillo and thought we were immune but I guess they do have them around here. I haven't seen one in the ten years I have been here.

I'm no where near Queen Creek but the housing implosion out here has hit the fringe areas hardest with a tons of foreclosures, neighborhoods like ghost towns and some commercial projects canceled. Keep this in mind as you look at places in the valley, it is still about about location, location, location.

Thanks for the replies guys... For now im gonna open business in Michigan and when the time comes buy a second house there. Prolly look in gilbert or north phoenix since we liked those areas when we lived in chandler.
