Exclamation Tucson Cars & Coffee - March 13

Saturday, March 13

New location

A Js
2805 E Skyline Dr
Tucson, AZ 85718 Map

http://www.yellowpages.com/info-7056...send2email_map

Time: 9am - Noon

Please park at the east end of the lot to avoid shoppers. The AJ's manager is Scott. They have a nice patio with an omelet bar and the coffee & bakery is just inside the door.
This location is just west of our old location at flemings, and should be relatively easy to find.

Unfortunately, I'm going to F1 in Bahrain so I can't make it. Hope everyone else can make it, as it would be nice to have a good showing for our new host.

You got it. I was advising the east/far end (away from the building) to avoid shoppers parking between us. On the last row near Crate & Barrel there is a sidewalk, so if you aim for that it will be handy to hang out without being in the driving lanes.

Nice to meet Mike and his wife today. It was a little crowded in the lot due to a mall event.
I think we will need more space!

Was a great turn out. We need a better location for the number of vehicles that were there and a little more out of traffic. Was an overall great time! Hopefully it continues to pick up steam. What better way to spend a saturday morning, enjoying a little coffee with nice cars and nice folks!

Perhaps the shopping center on the north side between Bear Creek and Catalina Hwy?

We need to get this sorted out the 10th is coming fast! I am thinking worst case is we move around the side of AJ's (left side facing store) Pretty much behind AJ's.It would put us out of main traffic area.

Thread watchers - I just posted up for this weekend!

We're going to try AJ's again, as I heard there was another event going on that same day at La Encantada that made it worse.

I'm also looking at other possibilities too. Ideally, I think we want to keep it in that same corridor, between Swan & Oracle and Ft. Lowell & Ina. Its overall central to all parts of town while avoiding the excessive stop & go traffic (remember too we have to watch speed bumps and extreme ingress/egress situations). We need services like beverages & restrooms within easy walk, and prefer to have a locally owned business to offer us food too.

Anyone know management at Tucson Mall who could organize shaded parking in the garage for us 1 morning per month?
