Used 05 DB9 8k Miles Price??

I have seen the value of high-end sports plummet recently. Now my questions is what would a 05 Aston Martin DB9 with 8k miles on it go for? One of the guys I work is planning on selling his quick and does not know what to ask for (planning on trading it in or selling it private but fairly quickly).

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mario

A couple of months ago I was looking at one, same year, same mileage. The dealer had a price on it of $115K
Not sure what they got for it, but it did get sold.

I was thinking somewhere around the $95k -$100k dealer trade in value. But if you saw a couple sold for $80k with the same mileage, my partner might be in trouble.

Auction is a below dealer wholesale alittle bit. So 2 months ago was higher prices than now. Yea your partner may be in trouble. Maybe you could offer him something in trade and get a good deal?

I wish I had something to offer him, might put up here on the board to see what people on here will offer. He's looking into getting the new M3.

just curious; why would he be interested in going from a DB9 to an M3?

He never drove the car, and still doesn't. He doesn't want to admit it but it was an impulsive buy, and now finally wants to get rid of it, as the way that this market is going it will keep losing value every day. Drove it the first few months, then settled for driving his Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Now wants something more sporty and that isn't in the crazy price range of a new 997 or F430.
