iPod Integration

Has anyone successfully integrated an iPod into the pre-2008 Vantage? How was it done?

I have been told only by the factory retro kit $2K, or with a FM modulator.

So something like the Dice integration kit would work? Do you know of any specific brands that have been used on the Vantage? I have a reputable shop here that was recommended by the dealership that will do it for about 600 dollars + parts.

Sweet! For $600.00, I'll drive to Boston and get mine done. Please let us know if it's for real and will work.

Thanks Big Green. Just bought the car down that way, wish I would have had it done then.

Maybe we can call him to find out what setup he is using.

Take a quick look at www.paralight.co.uk

We have developed a MOST integrated Ipod kit specificallly for pre-08 Aston Martin's. This will give both control and also display of Playlist, Artist, Album Etc on the ICM (Infotainment control Module).

We are based in the UK, but will happily ship to the US. All you need to do is to find a competent engineer to install the unit. I will help and advise on installation.

It works very well, and has been adopted by a number of UK dealers for their customers as well as a number of members of the AMOC.

Contact details on the website.

Feel free to ask any questions.

$650.00 plus shipping.

Regards,

Paralight

Does anyone know of an interface that is "not" FM or "bluetooth" driven?

Something that is hard-wired into the head unit.

Our kit is wired through the fibre optic system. No FM modulator. Full control and display via the ICM (Infotainment Control Module).

James:

Can you please PM me or post an outline of the instructions?

I have an installer in my area who is willing to do the work, but he wants to get an overview of the install first.

Regards
