DBS wheels on a V8 Vantage FAQ

This is primarily for jaymoney tried pm but i do not have enough postings yet also tried email but they got returned via spam,

Can you fit the DBS wheels on the V8 Vantage

Yes they will fit and have been fitted with out any reported problems, under normal driving there should fine but as these wheels are wider than the originals under aggressive driving or for being used on a track day etc, i would not consider them safe as they could foul, this in itself is potentially very dangerous, With this in mind I personally would not recommend fitting them,

hope this helps i have added this to my faq's on my site

Rick,

Thank you so much for your attention. I really appreciate the info. I'm sorry it was so difficult. There are a number of 20" wheels out there and 19" wheels that are wider that stock. Can you reccomend wheel and tire combonations in 19" and 20" that will not cause any issues? Otherwise, if I want DBS wheels, I'll have to buy a DBS. Unfortunately, I'm about 270K short right now.

Thanks again,

Jay

Posting info links are no problem especially from someone of your expertise. The forum is not to keen on selling and advertising in the posts but knowledge and opinion are fare game.
