Little pricy, but you could always shave the antenna off and then relocate the harness to the boot lid..get the antenna film for a DB9 Volante and connect it. The early DB9 Volante was not in the front windscreen, nor did it have a roof mount, it was film 2-way taped and sandwiched behind the boot lid trim.

The thought of shaving the antenna did cross my mind but I didn't realize it could be done going the route you suggested. Looks like pre-08 DB9 Volantes have the film, and parts are only about $200 including the antenna amplifier (if needed). It's the labor that will make the cost of retrofit hurt. Shaving and painting an Aston... that adds up very quickly!

Or you could just buy an 08MY or newer Vantage.

I'd rather hold out for the next gen And maybe by then I'll be able to keep my current and buy a new one. Maybe. Mmmm dreams, wonderful dreams.
