Bought mine second hand at the dealer. The day i went to pick it up, the mechanic pulled the fuse.

Today, i put mine back, for no particular reason.

To be honest, i don't hear THAT much of a difference. But i did as someone already said, i noticed a little increase in power. Weird.

You need to put the fuse back during state inspections or it may not pass. Removing the fuse opens up the bypass valve in the exhaust. Enjoy your new ride!

In CT all emissions are checked via the OBD port.
Fuse #22 (or #15 on the newer cars) won't effect the readings.

in ontario. as our etest is obdii module ready readout only.they dont stick any probes up the exhaust anymore.

On my 2007 Vantage. Note there are tiny, tiny fuse location numbers molded into the black plastic housing alongside each fuse.

What, this old thing? Yeah, alright, I may have got the watch in the picture for the benefit of the only crowd I know that might appreciate it. All my friends wear $12 Casios or no watch at all.

My amV8 came with sport exhaust. The sound of it starting already sounds like an angry lion. Pulled fuse 22 to see if it made any difference - not really.

Is fulling fuse 22 the same basically as having the car in sport mode all the time? I had read somewhere that sport mode keeps the baffles open.

Is this for model years that do not have the sport mode?

It only affects the exhaust valves so they're always open (louder exhaust in the low-mid RPM range). Doesn't change anything else on the car - no effect on throttle response, suspension, steering, braking, etc. Although the noise might make you think so lol.
