Done the "tail" several times ... even have a picture on it w/ "Just Married" written on back window (ala old 007 movie). The Tail is great but the roads around it are just as good and a lot less cops ! Suggest go old school and pull out a map - incredible twisties to find and make a route ...

My wife reminded me there is a web site that shows were the cops hang out on the "Tail" - only so many places that a car can pull off and sit ... also several indie photographers hang out there and shoot your car while you drive by ... you can then go on line, check photos out and buy them if you wish ... good shots, we purchased. Also check out the tree of shame - lots of bike/car parts from crashes.

 

Thanks for the tips Michael. BTW, do you (or anyone else out there) know of a good dash-mounted video camera? I would like to shoot more video but with a camera that's secured to the car.
