V8 Vantage GT4 Manifolds and Race Cats

Hey Quicksilver, Good to see some competition for headers in the US. Does your price of $5000pounds include US taxes? Also do you sell the headers separately? website doesn't say anything about a ecu tune, does your kit need one? what deal can you do on a silencer with the header kit as well? RSC are doing they're header kit with cats and filters at $5500 yours are $8000, any discount? also you've said 12hrs to fit and RSC have posted up 5-6hrs, why does yours take twice as long? your lh header looks the same as RSC's one.
Thanks Kris.

QuickSilver have been producing Aston Martin Exhaust systems since 1973.
QuickSilver developed their 'Sport' silencers for both the V8 Vantage and DB9 in 2007, with no collaboration.
We designed and developed our Manifolds and Race-Catalysts for the V8 Vantage in early 2011 and have supplied these to a number of independent specialists.
Over the last year the QuickSilver Manifolds & Race-Cats have evolved. The manifolds are now all ceramic coated and we can supply the catalysts with E-marked cores.
We now manufacture these in two versions: 1) For race cars (N24 and GT4) that have no Exhaust Gas Recirculation system (EGR) and 2) for road cars that retain the OE EGR system.
Our Road car manifolds (with EGR provision) can be installed without significant ECU retuning but most dealers combine their installation with an ECU tune.
(If Manifolds without EGR provision are fitted to road cars with the simultaneous removal of the OE EGR system - then a substantial conversion & retune would be required. And, it would be much harder to return the car to original-spec, if required in the future).
The QuickSilver manifolds & Race-Cats are supplied as a kit - the joint between the manifolds and catalyst is not in the same place. However, we do produce 200 cpsi race-catalysts that work with the OE manifolds.
An approximate fitting time of 12 hours is correct.

Also any discount on a complete kit with silencer and retune?
Thanks Kris.

Thanks Kris.

Hey Pommehogster, How do you rate the kit? why is yours not ceramic coated? Thanks Kris

Great! More competition always a good thing! Price is still way too high though.
I like the ceramic coating idea, great way to reduce underwood engine bay temps (roughly 80% of it comes from exhaust manifolds)
