I would trust the procedure is covered in your owner's manual.

The battery in my DB9's fob is a typical CR2032, used in many automotive remote key fob applications.

No, there are no instructions as to how or where to begin to pry it open, so I'll figure it out. And, it is probably is the 2032 ... as are many others. Thanks.

That's odd. I'll check the manual in my DB9 to see if there's something in mine, and if so I'll post it for you in case it is the same as the Rapide. I only assume, but do not know, the keys would be the same.

I couldn't find instructions in my manual either, so I took my plastic key apart and documented it in hopes it applies to your Rapide.

1) Turn the key over with the small hole facing up

2) Insert a small pin into the hole and push. The end cap should come off

3) The end cap has a directional clip on the end, make sure to put it back on the same way

4) With the end cap off, a slot is visible

5) Insert a screwdriver into the slot and twist in order to pry the 2 halves apart.

6) And here's the battery.

7) Assembly is simple, snap the 2 halves back together and then snap on the end cap.

Cool, good to know they are the same. I'll create a how-to thread to make it easier for future owners needing to replace their batteries.
