Bertone/Aston Martin Preview Jet Shooting Brake
Read about it here: Aston Martin and Bertone Build Beautiful Shooting Brake
If anyone could make a station wagon sexy, it's Aston Martin. They got help from coach builder Bertone as well. The result is lust worthy. It's a one-off, but I wouldn't mind if all future wagons from everyone everywhere used this as a template.

aside from the grill, this is fantastic. i hate that AM softened the curves of the grill where the headlights come in. it eliminates the signature look of the grill. the Rapide is gorgeous, and this works extremely well, too. there need to be more wagons. the Panamera, for example, looks a million times better as a wagon (or whatever they're calling it), and is the only version of that car that i'd buy.
could this be the mod that the Rapide needs to overcome the rear passenger fit issues?
Sadly, much as I love wagon/estate/shooting brake packages, this one doesn't do it for me. The lack of the coupe/fastback at the C pillar throws off the balance of the long, low nose. So the car ends up looking very tail heavy. The fix? Make a V12V wagon. At least I'd like to see one.
Still, big ups to AM, Bertone and the guy who ordered it. It's wonderful to see exotic practicallity.
Anyone else a fan of the shooting brake Ferrari 456?

I love this design. If I had the money, I'd spec one out with a six speed manual & 510 hp. Perhaps with a lower rear hatch so my dog could easily jump in. I prefer 5 spoke wheels too. My current dogs car is an Audi A4 Avant 2.0 liter turbo chipped/modified to 300 hp.
What is this "shooting brake"? is that the design catagory of these newly classed sports wagons? Or is that something along the likes of say panamera, or Ferrari FF (ugly Shoe with lots of power)?
