DB7 mystery rattle
My fav's as a former tech (many years in the past) were the ones like "It just needs a tuneup" and after two days of chasing electrical gremlins you discover the wire to the coil is shorting out against the frame that is so far out of sight you can't find it until have the engine is torn apart, etc...
Being a good tech is like being a doctor. It's half art, half science.
Thought I'd post the solution. The sub-assembly was loose in the front - and the front shocks were not screwed in tightly. The shocks had been cross-threaded when installed. The had to be replace to tighten them up.
Wow...now that is horrible, hope you don't go back to the previous mechanic that did those repairs..I wouldn't of guessed that at all, then again kind of hard to guess malpractice
