AOS Catch Can

Understood. I appreciate the consideration should you have an extra kit--just let me know. Thanks Telum--this looks great!

I should have enough parts on hand for a couple extra kits. The fabricator is making some extra brackets for me, and I should have enough of the various bits on hand for two extra kits (you'll have to buy the catch can itself on your own, they're listed for $145 if I remember correctly, might not including shipping).
I wasn't going post anything about having some spares just yet because the people that have already paid in have been waiting very patiently for a long time (huge thanks to them for their patience), and I don't want to add more people to that list.
If there's a demand once the kits being made now are being used, I can put together another run of kits. The pricing included throughout this thread won't be applicable, though. I've actually spent much more on this project than I charged. Plus it will be just the kit, and each person will have to get the catch can separately.

Picked up the brackets today. Sorry for the cell phone pics, but here's how the kit looks installed:
We changed things up at the last minute, so I'm waiting on some more hardware. It should be here in a few days. In the meantime, I'm looking to see if I can get my hands on some 45-degree fittings to replace the 90-degree fittings. The 45's should give a slightly more direct path for the hose going into the intake manifold, and should clean up the look a bit. I'm not seeing any from a quick search, so I might send the kits out as-is and then I'll send the new stuff if/when I can find it.

I got a shipment from Stuart a couple days ago with some goodies! A few things to change my oil (write-up to come whenever I get around to changing doing the oil change) and a bunch of the hoses I need for their fittings. I'm sure there were a few odd looks from the source distributor when the order for those hoses came in. It's an odd part to order, let alone in batch. Thanks for taking care of me, Stuart!
The last thing I'm waiting for will be here tomorrow or the day after. Once I have that, I can ship out the orders I already have!
I haven't been able to find the 45-degree fittings yet, but I'll keep looking. If I find them, I'll ship them out to anyone that wants one.
Also: I've gotten a couple extra requests for kits. I should have the parts on-hand for 2 extra kits. These kits do NOT include the catch can itself, but does include the fittings and everything else needed. The catch can alone can be ordered, it goes for $145 but you might find a deal on it somewhere - I paid $115-ish each in a group buy for the people that bought in early for my kit.

The 45-degree would replace the 90-degree fitting coming out of the top of the catch can. Both are perfectly functional, I'm just being picky.

Another kit gone, ONE left on-hand. Can put together more as needed but will need time to get the hardware together.
For those that have already ordered one, I'll be shipping them by Friday.

Kits are ready to go! I'll do my best to get to the post office on Friday after work, but if I can't then they will ship out on Saturday without a doubt.

In case anyone is interested in getting upgraded fittings to replace the plastic ones, here's what I'm ordering:

Please note that I won't be able to say how well they fit with the catch can until I receive them.

Here's the V8 engine bay:

Guess I'll update this since it's been a while. I've put a bunch of miles on the car since first starting this project and it's done a great job of collecting oil. It's a bit disturbing how much it collects - lots of oil getting through the PCV and into the intake manifold. I haven't had any issues at all with it and it still looks like it belongs in the engine bay - even more so with the new 45-degree fitting (read below).
A while back I ordered a pair of aluminum fittings to replace the plastic ones. A lot more expensive, but worth checking into. The two I got are black anodized from Earl's.
The straight one to replace the fitting for the lower hose DOES NOT fit. The fitting is too long and the distance between the catch can and the PCV is too short.
This is the straight fitting that DOES NOT fit:
Earl's AT984010ERL Hose, Straight, 5/8", Aluminum
The 45-degree angled fitting replaces the 90-degree fitting at the top of the catch can and looks MUCH better. Only downside is that the fitting doesn't thread in completely, so there are some exposed threads. However, all-in-all, I prefer it to the plastic one it replaced. Look for this and you'll find it:
Earls Plumbing AT984410ERL Ano-Tuff Adapter
A quick note: Hopefully the 45-degree fitting is in stock. I ordered it in February and it just came a few days ago. At one point I was told it wouldn't arrive until July! Also, it shortens the distance the hose needs to travel so I had to trim about 1" from the hose.
I'm doing a track day at Summit Point on May 1st, so I'll be emptying it beforehand so I can measure how much oil was coming through the AOS and PCV while on track.
